Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for generator inspection and testing services at the Bath VA Medical Center. The anticipated requirement includes semi-annual inspections of 10 generators and associated transfer switches, annual load bank testing of five specified generators at required load levels and durations, and inspection of batteries, electrical systems, controls, alarms, transfer switches, and related components. The contractor would furnish all labor and materials, provide detailed service reports after each service round, notify the contracting officer or contracting officer’s representative of required repairs, and submit cost estimates for work outside the scope. The potential contract includes a 12-month base period from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027, with four 12-month option periods.
