Description
The City of El Paso is seeking one contractor to provide approximately 312 cubic yards of hardwood chips for rhinoceros habitat use at the City of El Paso Zoo. Pricing must include shipping and handling, and all items must be bid for the response to be responsive. Orders will be placed as needed by authorized Zoo Department personnel. The contract has a three-year term, with an option for the City to extend it for two additional years at the same unit prices. The non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled as a Microsoft Teams conference call on October 1, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Mountain Standard Time. Paper bids may be mailed or hand delivered to the City's Purchasing & Strategic Sourcing Department, and electronic submissions are accepted through the designated bidding portal.
