Description
The Regional District of Central Kootenay seeks quotes for as-needed maintenance of the leachate catchment pond at the Creston Landfill. When leachate approaches 120 cubic metres, the contractor must pump it using a vacuum truck, transport it to the Town of Creston Wastewater Treatment Plant, and dispose of it at the plant’s septage pits. There is no guaranteed number of service requests or volume, and the procurement may result in one or more contracts. The contract term is two years, with an option for up to three one-year extensions. Quotes may be submitted electronically through BC Bid by pre-authorized electronic bidders, or according to the instructions in Section 1.7, “Quote Submissions,” of the RFQ.
