Description
Fullerton School District is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed contractors to furnish and install Category 6A network cabling and associated infrastructure across approximately 20 school sites. The project includes about 1,750 network data drops, approximately 3,500 individual Cat6A cable runs totaling an estimated 525,000 feet, replacement of designated Cat5 cabling, patch panels, patch cables, jacks, faceplates, cable management, raceways or conduit where needed, labeling, certification testing, cleanup, and related documentation. Contractors must coordinate work with District IT and school personnel and may need to perform work during evenings, weekends, school breaks, or other non-instructional periods. The solicitation is a public works project requiring applicable California contractor licensing, prevailing wages, and compliance with E-Rate requirements. Proposals must include technical and firm information, methodology and schedule, pricing, subcontractor information, references, and the specified signed forms. The selected contract may run from July 1, 2027, through September 30, 2030, with up to two one-year extensions, or may use a fixed 60-month term through September 30, 2032. The project is contingent on E-Rate funding, and the awarded contractor must provide E-Rate eligibility information, a valid SPIN, FCC registration number, and FCC Green Light evidence.
