Description
The City of Bartlett seeks a professional consultant engineering firm to support resurfacing Kirby Whitten Road from Bartlett's south city limits to New Brownsville Road. The selected firm must be on the Tennessee Department of Transportation's pre-approved list or have submitted a prequalification form by the deadline, with unlimited prequalification status. The scope includes project initiation, surveying, NEPA document preparation, roadway design, bidding services, construction engineering and inspection, and required entries in TDOT Local Programs' E-Grants system. Design work includes ADA-related concrete updates, drainage improvements, possible bike lanes, striping and signal modifications, and adjustments within the existing right-of-way. Phase I submissions will be evaluated for experience, specialized expertise, licensure, staffing, project size, and prequalification status; Phase II evaluation emphasizes past performance, workload capacity, and technical approach.
