Description
The City of Bartlett is seeking a professional consultant engineering firm for the development and construction support of intelligent transportation system upgrades along Stage Road, Bartlett Boulevard, Kirby Whitten Road, and various intersections. The work includes installing traffic signal communication fiber; upgrading traffic signal controllers, communications equipment, and Traffic Management Center software; and retiming traffic signals along Stage Road from Shelby Street to Summer Avenue. The selected consultant will perform project initiation, surveying, NEPA environmental documentation, preliminary and final engineering design, utility certification, bidding services, construction engineering and inspection, and required project documentation in TDOT Local Programs' E-Grants system. Firms must be on TDOT's pre-approved list or have submitted a TDOT prequalification form by the deadline, with unlimited prequalification status. The City will evaluate qualifications based on workload capacity, past performance, technical approach, and other approved factors, with potential interviews. Payment will be lump sum by development phase.
