Description
The City of Avondale is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to establish a prequalified list of contractors for professional home rehabilitation and maintenance services. These services will be funded through federal programs such as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), as well as City of Avondale general funds. Contractors must be registered on System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and possess a valid Unique Entity Identifier. Qualified contractors will be eligible to submit quotations for individual projects involving single-family dwellings. Projects may include minor or major repairs, maintenance, handicap accessibility modifications, and the installation of energy-efficient products. The scope of work for each project will be developed by the City and must adhere to various federal, state, and local standards, including HUD Housing Quality Standards and Energy Star guidelines.
