Description
The District seeks elevator contractors to provide monthly preventive maintenance, annual licensed inspections and safety testing, required multi-year tests, operating-certificate and statutory filing support, service records, and emergency response. The scope covers 16 identified elevators, with one additional unconfirmed unit priced provisionally. Bidders must provide unit-level pricing, renewal pricing, test prices, repair rates, and an optional full-maintenance alternate. The contractor must provide qualified and appropriately licensed mechanics and inspectors, a separate inspector to witness testing, a maintenance control program for each unit, compliance calendars, detailed reports, and deficiency tracking. Emergency service includes a 24-hour live dispatch number and specified response targets. Repairs beyond included maintenance and immediate safety isolation require written authorization. The District may award service categories to one or multiple contractors and may renew for two additional one-year terms. The bid response must include pricing, credentials, three comparable references, subcontractor disclosures, service and transition plans, sample maintenance and inspection reports, a test applicability matrix, exceptions, insurance acknowledgment, and applicable work-authorization documentation.
