Description
This Sources Sought notice is for market research only and is not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, is assessing firms capable of furnishing and fully operating a hydraulic cutterhead pipeline dredge with a minimum 18-inch diameter, attendant plant, personnel, materials, and equipment for construction and maintenance dredging in Mississippi River ports and harbors and lock approaches on the JBJ Waterway (Red River). The dredge must handle sand, gravel, loose rock, silt, mud, clay, and potentially debris, and operate with pipeline lengths up to 6,500 feet. Immediate availability and adequate bonding capability are requested. Respondents must submit a capability statement by email as one unscanned PDF, no more than five pages total, plus a one-page executive summary excluded from the limit. The response must address company history; similar experience; up to five relevant government contracts from the past five years with contract and reference details; company, ownership, registration, and joint-venture information; and per-contract and aggregate construction bonding capacity.
