Description
The City of Richardson is soliciting bids for an annual litter abatement program involving the procurement and installation of curb inlet filter baskets, monthly inspection and maintenance, measurement and characterization of collected debris, debris disposal, and removal or relocation of filters as directed by City staff. The contractor must provide photographs, data, and monthly reports, respond to service requests within less than two weeks, and maintain traffic control and crew safety during field work. The estimated annual expenditure is approximately $145,000, with quantities subject to increase or decrease based on the City's needs and available funding. The initial contract period is twelve months, with four additional one-year renewal options. A five-percent bid bond is required, and the successful contractor must provide 100-percent performance, payment, and maintenance bonds after award. The contractor must demonstrate at least three similar projects completed within the last five years and satisfy extensive insurance requirements.
