Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 3,000 each of red, four-ply, four-cord cotton safety thread, supplied on two-ounce spools. The thread is used to seal ripcords and parachute systems so users can visually identify tampering. The specified breaking strength is 4.75 pounds. Each spool must be individually packaged, with packaging, marking, palletization, inspection, and acceptance requirements specified in the solicitation. Delivery is required within 125 days after award, FOB destination.
