Description
The City of Columbia is soliciting bids for construction to retrofit an existing dry stormwater detention basin into a permanent wet retention basin with additional stormwater management volume. Work includes excavation and grading, drainage structures and piping, riprap and erosion-control measures, fencing, slope stabilization, landscaping, deep-pool plantings, and restoration of the site. The project also requires relocation of sanitary sewer infrastructure, including sanitary sewer bypass pumping, installation of approximately 1,021 linear feet of 12-inch PVC sanitary sewer pipe, abandonment and removal of existing sewer pipe, and construction or adjustment of sanitary manholes. Bidders must provide required licenses, technical qualifications, at least three similar-project references from the past five years, litigation and claims information, financial statements, the bid form, subcontractor information, company certification materials, and the required bid bond. The selected contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, permits, testing, and related work necessary for completion.
