Description
Longview Independent School District seeks commercial-grade kitchen equipment for multiple campuses, including combination oven/steamers and companion convection or multi-cook ovens, boilerless convection steamers, and high-temperature conveyor dish machines. The scope includes required accessories and installation components, delivery and placement, removal and disposal of existing equipment where applicable, site verification, utility and ventilation modifications, installation, startup, testing, commissioning, and manufacturer-required inspections. Equivalent products are permitted if documented to demonstrate compliance with the stated requirements. The work also includes training for Child Nutrition personnel, warranty and service support, and coordination of delivery and installation to minimize disruption to cafeteria operations. Proposals are evaluated on pricing and overall value, compliance with specifications, delivery and installation and warranty support, vendor qualifications and references, and additional value and responsiveness. The proposal narrative is limited to 15 pages, excluding specified supporting materials, and must include a table of contents; at least three comparable references completed within the past five years are requested. The successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds and proof of liability and workers' compensation insurance.
