Description
Rio Elementary School District is seeking a qualified provider for high-speed data services at 10 Gbps or higher between Rio Vista Middle School and the district's main office. The scope includes retaining or porting existing data circuits, providing all required equipment and single-mode fiber demarcation handoffs, installation and initial configuration, service monitoring, and ongoing maintenance. The requested service must support 99.99% network availability and packet delivery, 30 ms one-way latency, four-hour mean repair time, 24/7/365 circuit monitoring, and no throttling. Proposals must distinguish E-Rate-eligible and ineligible costs and include recurring, non-recurring, installation, transition, equipment, taxes, surcharges, and growth pricing for potential 15 Gbps and 20 Gbps upgrades. The response must include a signed service agreement and service-level agreement, itemized pricing, respondent information, an executed acknowledgment form, at least three qualifying references, qualifications, and an implementation plan if applicable. Special-construction proposals additionally require a cost breakdown, route map, alternative-route explanation, and explanations of unusual construction costs. The initial contract term is three years beginning July 1, 2027, with two optional one-year extensions, subject to E-Rate funding and required provider eligibility.
