Description
The Town of Pineville is soliciting sealed bids for the South Polk Sidewalk project, which includes constructing a new sidewalk section along the west side of South Polk Drive to connect the existing sidewalk at Lowry Street with the existing sidewalk north of Meadow Creek Lane. The work also includes modifications to the traffic signal at South Polk Street and Lowry Street. Bidders must use the Town's complete itemized proposal form, comply with applicable North Carolina general-contractor licensing requirements, and follow the NCDOT encroachment-permit requirements in Attachment A. Bids of $300,000 or more require bid security of at least 5% of the total bid amount, provided as a corporate bid bond or certified/cashier's check. Bids must be hand delivered or mailed in a sealed envelope to the Office of the Town Manager by the stated deadline.
