Description
The Military Sealift Command is planning a single fixed-price contract with pass-through elements for the operation and maintenance of Expeditionary Transfer Dock vessels. The contractor will operate the vessels and related systems and equipment in support of assigned missions, maintain them in good operable condition and mission-ready status except during scheduled maintenance, repair, and overhaul periods, and comply with applicable laws and United States Coast Guard and American Bureau of Shipping requirements. The contractor must maintain valid Coast Guard Certificates of Inspection and American Bureau of Shipping classifications, including statutory certificates. The anticipated procurement will use a tradeoff source-selection process and is set aside 100% for small businesses. The contractor must possess and maintain a Secret facility clearance and employ personnel with Secret clearances. The notice is a presolicitation only; it does not solicit proposals or award a contract.
