Description
Calhoun City School District is requesting proposals from qualified construction management firms to serve as construction manager at risk for renovations and modifications to Calhoun Elementary School and Calhoun Primary School. The scope includes flooring and ceiling replacement, painting, HVAC replacement, playground upgrades with grading and stormwater modifications, playground equipment and synthetic turf, door replacement or refinishing, lighting upgrades, intercom replacement, low-voltage cabling and wiring updates, restroom fixture replacement, and related renovations. The selected firm will provide preconstruction, bidding, construction, and post-construction services, including estimating, value engineering, bid-package development, trade-contractor procurement, scheduling, cost and quality control, safety management, closeout, and one year of warranty administration. The procurement is for a construction manager at risk contract, with a $5,000,000 Phase 1 construction budget; Phase 1 work is scheduled for completion by July 21, 2027. The proposal must include firm qualifications, relevant project experience, project staffing, financial information, project approach, claims history, references, and fee information, including general conditions and overhead-and-profit fees.
