Description
Minnesota State is requesting proposals for snow removal, parking lot plowing, salt application, and optional brine application at five buildings. Services include removing snowfalls of one inch or more, preventing icy conditions, responding to snow events within one hour, providing same-day daytime call-out service when requested, communicating with college personnel, and removing sand and debris from snow piles at the end of each season. The contractor must provide and operate its own equipment, identify qualified personnel, and repair damage to college property caused by its operations. The contract is expected to run for five years, with an anticipated budget of $120,000 per year. The proposal must address the work plan, service costs, equipment, personnel qualifications, quality assurance, communication and equipment-breakdown procedures, company experience, at least three business references, and any contract exceptions. Supplier-diversity information and certifications are required when applicable. Responses must be submitted exclusively through Minnesota State's e-procurement system.
