Description
The City of Beaumont is seeking bids for a one-year renewable contract to provide pest control services to designated city facilities. Services are to be performed every ninety (90) days, with additional services provided at no extra cost if needed. The contract covers extermination of roaches, ants, mites, silverfish, raspberry crazy ants, flying insects, and rats/mice in all listed buildings. Flea, raspberry crazy ant, bed bug, and wasp treatments will be quoted on an hourly basis and requested as needed. Bee removal and relocation services are also requested. The contract includes services for approximately 902,803 square feet across numerous city facilities, including administrative buildings, fire stations, libraries, parks, police stations, and transit facilities. The contractor must be licensed with the State of Texas and provide a two-hour response time for emergencies and a seven-hour response time for non-emergencies. A 24-hour answering service is required. The contractor must also provide proof of insurance, including Commercial General Liability, Comprehensive Automobile Liability, and Workers' Compensation. The contract term is one year, with two additional one-year renewal options at the quoted price. The City reserves the right to add or delete locations during the contract term.
