Description
The Borough of Naugatuck and its Board of Education are soliciting bids for monthly pest control services. This contract will cover fourteen municipal buildings, two fire stations, one police station, and other associated structures. The services are required for a one-year period, commencing July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The scope of services includes the elimination of crawling pests, rodents, hornets, wasps, and bees. Regular monthly treatments are scheduled during business hours, with specific scheduling requirements for Board of Education properties. Bidders are expected to provide pricing for regular monthly services, as well as any additional fees for emergency services, overtime, and extra services such as wildlife trapping and removal of specific pests like bed bugs and bats. The contract will also cover the prevention and removal of a wide range of pests including rats, mice, cockroaches, pigeons, ants, squirrels, and more. Bidders must be located within five miles of the Borough's limits and are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the Borough as an additional insured. Specific insurance coverages and limits are detailed in the solicitation documents, including Workers Compensation, Commercial General Liability, Commercial Automobile Insurance, and Umbrella Liability. Bidders must also submit a completed W-9 form, company history, list of equipment, and other relevant documentation.
