Approved Laboratories for Forced Entry and Ballistic Resistance Certification Testing

The US Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) requires verification that specific building systems used in diplomatic facilities overseas meet their proprietary testing standard, SD-STD-01.01 Revision H. This announcement provides an update to the list of approved commercial test laboratories capable of conducting Forced Entry and Ballistic Resistance (FE/BR) certification testing to this standard. The updated list, Table 8 (version 3), supersedes previous versions and includes an additional laboratory, Susquehanna Labs. The list of approved laboratories is subject to change at the Bureau of Diplomatic Security's discretion, based on their understanding of the standard, industry practices, communication abilities, and capacity to perform both forced-entry and ballistic certification testing.
