Description
The 82d Contracting Squadron intends to make a sole-source award to Roche Diagnostics Corporation for cost-per-test kits and reagents compatible with the existing Roche Cobas 6000 c501/e601 chemical analyzer. The kits include reagents and analyzer-related support needed to validate the hospital's existing system and support the Medical Laboratory Technicians at the 82d Medical Group. The analyzer processes approximately 98,000 tests annually in support of approximately 70,800 medical appointments. The requirement is limited to Roche because the existing analyzer platform, test menu, laboratory-information-system connectivity, technician training, and integrated configuration are proprietary and compatible reagents and test kits are not available from other sources. The notice is a special notice of intent rather than a solicitation or request for proposal/quotation; interested parties may submit written capability information for consideration of future competition. The contemplated contract is firm-fixed-price and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, with a stated period of performance from October 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027.
