Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 26 packages of rapid fecal parasite test kits for detecting Entamoeba histolytica in human fecal specimens. The requested product is a rapid membrane enzyme immunoassay in a single-use cassette, intended as an aid in diagnosing E. histolytica gastrointestinal infection, with results available in approximately 30 minutes without instrumentation. Each package contains 25 tests and must be stored refrigerated at 2–8 degrees Celsius and not frozen. The item has a 12-month non-extendable shelf life, with no more than one month elapsed from manufacture to delivery. The solicitation permits alternate products only when complete technical data is provided and identifies FDA-regulated product requirements, commercial packaging, medical marking, and destination inspection. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
