Description
The Montana Department of Transportation is accepting proposals from consulting firms to provide engineering and architectural services for the rehabilitation or reconstruction of the Emigrant Rest Area on US-89 in Park County, Montana. Phase 1 will determine whether rehabilitation or full reconstruction is the most appropriate path; if rehabilitation is selected, the consultant may prepare plans and specifications for a future construction contract. If reconstruction is selected, a design-build delivery method may be considered for a subsequent phase, and firms participating in Phase 1 may be prohibited from competing as part of the alternative delivery team. The selected consultant must ensure that internal and external features meet ADA standards and comply with applicable local, state, and federal building requirements, including regulations related to water and wastewater systems. The proposal must include team qualifications, project approach, resumes, a cover page form, and at least five references. Proposals are limited to five pages, excluding appendices, and must be submitted electronically through the State of Montana File Transfer Service.
