Description
Orange County, Virginia, is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors to provide snow and ice removal services at designated county facilities, collection sites, public buildings, and airport locations. The scope includes clearing parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, recycling boxes, and a landfill vehicle scale; applying environmentally friendly de-icing agents approved for concrete and asphalt; relocating or removing excessive snow when directed; and responding within a maximum of two hours after notification. Contractors must provide approved equipment, qualified operators, safety equipment, work logs, and pricing for all four service sections and every item in the pricing matrix. The successful respondent will receive a firm fixed-price contract for one year, from November 18, 2026, through November 17, 2027, with no renewal or extension options. Quotes must use the required price form and include the specified returned appendices, equipment list, and supporting information. The solicitation requires insurance documentation if awarded, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, automobile liability, and umbrella liability coverage.
