Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole-source contract to Government Imaging Services LLC, formerly known as Salvadorini Consulting LLC, for transportation, relocation, and setup of a mobile MRI trailer. The trailer will be moved from Oceanside Community Base Outpatient Clinic to Jennifer Moreno Medical Center and then returned to Oceanside Community Base Outpatient Clinic. The requirement supports continuity of imaging services while Jennifer Moreno Medical Center's 3T MRI scanner is replaced. The notice states that the incumbent provider has proprietary knowledge of the trailer's structural, electrical, and shielding specifications, and that using another provider could create unacceptable equipment-damage and operational risks. Responses must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would benefit the Government; this notice is not a request for competitive proposals or offers.
