Description
The Borough of Eatontown is soliciting sealed bids for rehabilitation of Wampum Lake Dam. The work includes replacing the existing timber bulkhead with sheet piling along the dam embankments and downstream channel, constructing gabion-basket overtopping protection and a concrete sidewalk, building two new timber fishing piers, reconstructing the auxiliary spillway, and replacing the existing sanitary sewer line. The contract also includes all other work necessary to complete the project. The work must be completed within 270 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bids must include a Statement of Consent of Surety and either a bid bond or certified check for at least 10% of the total bid price, subject to the stated $20,000 check limit. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds for the full project amount and comply with applicable New Jersey, prevailing-wage, Davis-Bacon, registration, affirmative-action, and funding-source requirements.
