Description
The Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation division is conducting market research for a contracted psychologist to provide critical incident stress debriefing, trauma intervention counseling, psychological assessments, peer-to-peer training, continuing professional education, and program collaboration. The contractor must support approximately 3,000 employees, provide course materials, facilitate a one-week peer-supporter training program, and offer timely assistance following critical incidents. The requirement calls for a psychologist with a Ph.D. in psychology or equivalent credentials and experience supporting federal law-enforcement or military personnel. The contractor must be capable of deploying teams nationwide, including to remote duty locations and, on rare occasions, internationally. The draft performance work statement also addresses confidential handling of psychological and medical information, secure records management, privacy and data-security compliance, designated program management, and a base period with three one-year option periods.
