The Kansas Bureau of Investigation's Forensic Science Laboratory is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide analytical reference standards, reference materials, and certified reference materials for routine forensic laboratory operations. Product categories include neat or in-solution materials, controlled and non-controlled substances, and lot-specific certificates of analysis. Vendors may bid on any or all product categories, and multiple vendors may be awarded contracts. The contract is an indefinite-quantity arrangement with no guaranteed minimum purchases. The stated contract period runs from the date of award through December 31, 2029. Reference Materials and Certified Reference Materials require applicable ISO 17034 accreditation; Analytical Reference Standards have no accreditation requirement. Authorized resellers may bid if they remain the primary contractor and point of contact, while the manufacturer must meet applicable accreditation requirements. Products must be shipped to designated KBI forensic laboratory locations in Kansas.
