Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Europe & Africa, in conjunction with the United States Army Medical Materiel Center-Europe, is conducting a Sources Sought/Request for Information to support the recompete of a commercial laboratory supplies contract. The anticipated requirement covers clinical laboratory reagents, test cartridges, calibrators, controls, test kits, and associated consumables compatible with government-owned laboratory analyzers and point-of-care or automated platforms, including Abbott i-STAT and Siemens DCA 2000 systems. The draft statement of work contemplates one or more five-year simplified indefinite-delivery contracts supporting overseas Department of Defense customers. Contractors would provide cataloged products, accept routine, expedited, and scheduled delivery orders, use the Electronic Catalog system for ordering and invoicing, and meet specified delivery, fill-rate, shelf-life, packaging, labeling, cold-chain, hazardous-material, and recall-notification requirements. This notice requests company information, comments on the draft statement of work, and feedback on proposed U.S.-dollar pricing and firm-fixed unit prices by ordering year; it is for market research and does not constitute a solicitation or promise of award.
