Fairfax County’s Department of Public Works and Environmental Services is seeking qualifications from mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering consulting firms for a Basic Ordering Agreement. Services may include feasibility and special design studies, peer review, commissioning, fire protection system review, value engineering, and design and construction administration for capital facility projects. Work will be issued as needed through task orders; no specific projects are identified. The County anticipates awarding contracts to up to two firms. Each contract has a stated ceiling of $750,000 per year, and no individual project may exceed $250,000. The initial term is one year, with three additional one-year renewal options.
