Description
The City of Lincoln is soliciting bids from a single prime contractor for the Campus View Drive Sanitary Sewer Project. The work includes installing approximately 1,830 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer, 65 feet of 10-inch sewer, and 70 feet of 15-inch sewer; removing and replacing existing sanitary sewer; reconnecting existing sanitary service laterals; and installing sanitary manholes. An alternate may include approximately 650 feet of 8-inch cured-in-place pipe lining. Additional work includes bedding, haunching, backfilling, compaction, sidewalk and pavement removal and replacement, surface restoration, and locating existing utilities. Bids are on a lump-sum basis, prevailing-wage requirements apply, and bid security, bonding, and insurance requirements are specified in the contract documents. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for prime contractors.
