Description
The City of Decatur is soliciting bids for repairs to the influent flume at the South Water Treatment Plant. The project has minority participation goals: 10% of the contract value should be performed by minority-owned businesses through subcontracting, where opportunities are available, and/or spent on goods, materials, and equipment purchased from such businesses; additionally, 18% of total labor hours should be performed by minority workers. Required participation information and documentation must be submitted with the bid proposal. Contractors must provide evidence of compliance with the goals before award and before payments for completed work, or document good-faith efforts to comply.
