Description
The City of Lakeland, through Lakeland Electric, seeks a complete replacement 60-inch motor-operated valve assembly for the Unit 5 circulating water system at McIntosh Power Plant. The supplier must provide the valve, gearbox, electric motor actuator, mounting hardware, adapters, couplings, engineering and design, factory inspection and testing, certified test documentation, packaging, transportation, and delivery. All equipment must be new, unused, compatible with the existing installation, and suitable for the circulating-water service. The bid also requires separately itemized recommended spare-parts packages for the valve, gearbox, and motor actuator, along with a recommended spare-parts list, technical data, drawings, materials information, weights, electrical and torque requirements, testing procedures, warranty information, manufacturing and delivery lead times, country of manufacture, and a complete list of exceptions or deviations. Bidders must provide three comparable large-diameter valve assembly references from the previous five years and submit required portal questionnaires, certifications, insurance evidence, notarized indemnification and human-trafficking affidavits, business-registration documentation, and pricing.
