Description
The Hawaii State Department of Health, through its Primary Care and Rural Health Programs, seeks a contractor to conduct public health workforce research on healthcare providers who provide home birth and community-based midwifery. The research must include certified nurse-midwives, certified midwives, and/or Certified Professional Midwives. Findings will be used to update provider-to-population ratios in the Health Resources and Services Administration Bureau of Health Workforce Shortage Designation Management System. The contract period is stated as October 10, 2026, through March 31, 2027.
