Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 15 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources capable of providing two new diesel 5k forklifts. These forklifts are intended to enhance the logistical and material handling capabilities at the Saint Louis VA Medical Center, supporting efficient operations and services for veterans. The forklifts will be used for moving and storing materials essential to daily operations. Key technical specifications include a 5,000 lbs capacity, diesel engine, a minimum 15-foot lift height, solid tires suitable for outdoor use, and a triple-stage mast. They must also feature a side-shift and tine hydraulic positioner attachment, an enclosed cab with heat/AC, intuitive controls, clear visibility, and safety features like an overhead guard, backup alarm, and strobe light. The forklifts must comply with OSHA and ANSI safety standards and have a normal turning radius for a 5K sit-down lift. A comprehensive one-year parts and labor warranty, at least three years of maintenance support, and on-site operator training are also required. The delivery location is 1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, Building 57 Warehouse, Saint Louis, VA 63125.
