Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks capability statements for a planned firm-fixed-price, design-bid-build construction project supporting Electronic Health Record Modernization infrastructure upgrades at a VA medical center. The work includes general construction, alterations, removal of existing structures, new CAT 6A telecommunications cable and outlets, associated equipment, replacement of fiber optic cabling serving work area outlets, telecommunications room improvements across multiple buildings, and renovation of the main computer room. The anticipated construction magnitude is $20 million–$50 million, with an estimated 730-calendar-day performance period beginning upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Respondents must submit a capability statement addressing company qualifications, business size and socioeconomic status, interest in the project, bonding capacity, up to three comparable projects completed within the last seven years, relevant technical skills and personnel, and self-performed work. The response must include the Project Labor Agreement questionnaire, be no more than nine single-sided pages, and be submitted as one application-generated PDF of no more than 4 MB.
