Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs seeks a contractor to inspect, clean, and power wash the exterior windows of Lightner Hall and MacArthur Hall at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home twice yearly, in spring and fall. The contractor must supply personnel, equipment, fall protection, supplies, and materials; remove and replace screens at MacArthur Hall as needed; and provide a list of chemicals used for facility review. After each service, the contractor must provide cleaning logs and maintenance certifications documenting deficiencies, including any uncorrected deficiencies and their locations. Work is generally performed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; work outside those hours requires prior approval. The solicitation anticipates a three-year term with two one-year renewal options, and bids are awarded to the lowest responsive bidder.
