Description
The Mohawk Valley Water Authority is soliciting sealed bids for rehabilitation of approximately 525 linear feet of existing water main in the City of Utica. The work involves cleaning and inspecting a combination of 8-inch concrete-lined ductile-iron pipe and 6-inch cast-iron pipe, followed by installation of cured-in-place pipe lining. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, and materials; maintain domestic service for two residential parcels along Alma Court; reinstate services, hydrants, and valves after liner curing; and perform associated bypass flow, traffic control, compaction, excavation and backfill, site restoration, topsoil and seeding, pavement and concrete work, coordination, and service replacement tracking and documentation. Bids must use the provided forms, include five percent bid security, and be submitted in a sealed package.
