Description

The City of Pasadena is soliciting proposals from qualified architectural firms to establish a pool of up to five on-call consultants for as-needed architectural and related multidisciplinary professional services. Potential assignments include existing-condition investigations, facility assessments, programming, space planning, feasibility studies, schematic and detailed design, permitting, bidding and procurement support, construction administration, periodic site observation, project closeout, cost estimating, accessibility improvements, historic preservation, adaptive reuse, sustainability, security, and other specialized services for municipal buildings and facilities. Each selected consultant will enter into a separate four-year agreement with a maximum contract amount of $1,000,000; no minimum work or compensation is guaranteed. Services will be authorized through negotiated task orders and written notices to proceed. Proposals must include separate technical and price proposals, demonstrate at least three comparable projects completed within the past five years involving design and construction administration, and include key personnel, references, organizational and management approaches, hourly rates, subconsultant costs, and reimbursable-expense schedules. The technical proposal, additional data, and statement of qualifications are limited to a combined 50 pages, and the introductory letter must bear a wet signature in blue ink.
