Description
The Virginia Department of General Services is soliciting bids for a one-time supply of tea bags and two instant coffee products. The tea requirement is 128 cases of black tea bags, packed 96 one-ounce bags per case, without strings or tags. Approved tea brands are Tetley No. 5189 and Golden Tip No. 80374; bidders must state the brand offered. The instant coffee requirement includes both products: 56 cases of decaffeinated, freeze-dried instant coffee, packed 12 eight-ounce pouches per case, and 490 cases of regular, spray-dried instant coffee, packed 24 four-ounce pouches per case. Bidders must bid on both coffee items and state the brands offered; specified American Instants products or approved equivalents are identified. The solicitation also requests the number of cases per pallet and emphasizes product quality requirements in the attached special terms and conditions. Delivery is required by November 10, 2026, with a delivery appointment.
