Description
The City of Toledo seeks a contractor to resurface approximately 0.76 miles of Glendale Avenue between Charmaine Drive and Detroit Avenue. Work includes removing the existing wearing course, making necessary pavement repairs, placing new asphalt, installing pedestrian ramps, and completing minor drainage improvements. The bid book also specifies roadway markings and related adjustments to catch basins, manholes, and other structures, along with traffic maintenance and stormwater pollution prevention measures. The project requires an ODOT-prequalified prime contractor, a 7% Small Business Enterprise goal, and a bid guaranty of 5% of the bid amount. The successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds at 100% of the contract amount, comply with applicable prevailing-wage requirements, and meet the stated self-performance requirement. The contract time is 75 days from the Notice to Proceed.
