Description
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contract for repair of the spillway radial gates at Webster Dam. Work includes removal, handling, and disposal of existing coating systems; crevasse sealing; application of new coating systems; replacement of bottom and side gate seals; rehabilitation of external and internal structural steel, skin plates, cover openings, galleries, trunnion assemblies, and floatwell covers and frames; and replacement of wire rope and related components. The acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 237990, with an estimated price range of $5 million to $10 million. The proposal is due September 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. CDT. Proposals must be submitted by email, with multiple emails permitted because of a 25 MB server limit. The contract period is November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027, and performance and payment bonds for 100 percent of the contract price are required within 10 days after award, rather than with the proposal. A 20 percent bid guarantee, capped at $3 million, is required with the proposal using Standard Form 24.
