Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking six kits for rapid detection of Group A streptococcal antigen from throat swabs and beta-hemolytic colonies recovered from culture. Each kit must contain 25 individually packaged tests, rabbit anti-Strep A antibody and heat-inactivated Strep A antigen, extraction reagents, sterile throat swabs, tubes and tips, positive and negative controls, a package insert, and a procedure card. Kits must be stored at room temperature and have an 18-month, non-extendable shelf life, with no more than two months elapsed from manufacture to delivery. The requirement includes quantities of four, one, and one kits under three purchase requests. Delivery is required within 20 days after order, FOB destination, with destination inspection and acceptance. Commercial packaging, medical marking, palletization, and applicable FDA registration, listing, labeling, and good manufacturing practice requirements apply. Alternate products require complete technical data for evaluation.
