Description
The Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries is seeking an annual supply agreement for laboratory products used by the State Chemical Laboratory, veterinary diagnostic laboratory, Food and Drug Laboratory, and Shipping Point Inspection. The requested items include mycotoxin and aflatoxin testing reagents and standards, chromatography columns, developer and eluting solutions, calibration materials, disposable cuvettes, filter paper, glass syringes, pumps, dispensers, blender equipment and replacement parts, printer paper, and related laboratory supplies. Quantities are specified for approximately 48 line items, with shipping, handling, and tariffs also to be quoted. Quotes must be submitted electronically through the Alabama Buys Portal. Vendors must maintain an established quality assurance program that includes ISO accreditation for distribution of medical and scientific products; the agency may request copies of ISO certificates. Alternate products may be offered, but suppliers must provide complete model or part numbers and descriptive or technical literature for evaluation. The agreement coverage period is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027.
