Description
The City seeks three-phase, conventional, dead-front, radial- and loop-feed padmounted transformers rated up to 2,500 kVA. The bid line items specify quantities and configurations of 300, 500, 750, and 1,000 kVA units. Equipment must meet the detailed electrical, mechanical, safety, efficiency, construction, and testing requirements in the specifications, including applicable ANSI standards and the stated DOE efficiency standards. Only approved manufacturers are eligible unless a manufacturer obtains approval through the stated process. Bidders must enter pricing for all line items in the online system and identify the manufacturer, country of origin, and delivery lead time. The response must also include the requested technical data, outline drawings, weights, test and performance data, product literature, warranty information, and any specification exceptions. The City identifies a 90-day delivery time as a factor in award consideration and may make periodic orders.
