Description
The Texas Workforce Commission is seeking an applicant to provide virtual high school equivalency preparation and support to eligible adults across Texas. The program must offer instructor-led and self-paced GED preparation, student assessment and orientation, tutoring and accommodations as needed, and support for transition to postsecondary education or training. Applicants must also describe statewide outreach and recruitment, staffing and program administration, outcomes and performance measures, and their approach to delivering the program. The application requires a completed Core Application and Budget Workbook, with a General Terms and Conditions Exceptions form only if the applicant has exceptions. The maximum requested grant amount is $1,000,000. The grant period is approximately 12 months, with renewals or extensions at the Commission’s discretion, up to five years total.
