Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive tire management program to support its fleet of approximately 50 transit buses and various support vehicles. The selected contractor will be responsible for the supply of new and retread tires, wheel preparation, balancing, alignment, delivery, inventory management, and emergency roadside assistance. TCAT operates a single facility in Ithaca, NY. The contract term is three years with two one-year renewal options. Award will be made on a best-value basis, considering both technical merit and cost.
