Description
Replace the existing fire alarm system at the Barnes Creek 2 facility with the system shown in the attached drawings. The contractor must provide and install an Edwards iO64 control panel, specified devices, wiring, conduit, and all other components and labor needed for a complete system; substitutions are not allowed. The facility will remain occupied, and the existing system must remain functional until the replacement is operational, with at least 24 hours’ notice before the changeover and less than four hours of coverage downtime. The work includes required coordination and submittals, acceptance testing with the agency’s Safety Department, debris removal and cleanup, and a one-year parts-and-labor warranty. Work must comply with applicable codes and prevailing-wage requirements and be completed within 60 days of receiving the purchase order. The quote must use the provided Official Quote Form and include a materials-and-labor cost breakdown. Proof of New York State Department of Labor registration must accompany the quote. Insurance certificates, Lobbying Law Forms, and signed Appendix A are identified as post-award requirements.
