Description
Houghton-Portage Township Schools is soliciting sealed bids from prime contractors for Series II renovations at its middle and high schools. Bidders must bid an entire trade package using the Bid Proposal Form. Available packages include sitework/earthwork, general trades, roofing, overhead doors, aluminum storefronts and glazing, acoustical ceilings, flooring and tile, epoxy flooring and concrete polishing, painting, wet-pipe fire sprinkler systems, mechanical and plumbing, and electrical work. Bids must include the Affidavit of Bidder and Affidavit of Compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. A bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check for at least 5% of the bid price is required. Successful bidders with contract awards greater than $25,000 must provide performance and payment bonds. The project is subject to Michigan prevailing-wage requirements.
